| Description |
Working with the accounting office at the US parent company to establish internal control for the subsidiary in Pakistan. Maintain the QuickBooks accounting data to ensure the compliance with the US GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable
- Track departmental cost
- Manage payroll, taxes and benefits
- Reconcile each general ledger account, including prepaid, fixed assets, depreciation, accrued liabilities
- Manager cash flow, and bank reconciliation
- Manage inter-company transactions between the US parent company and the subsidiary in Pakistan
- Maintain good working paper, audit trial for each general ledger account
- Manage monthly end closing to ensure book is closed on time each month
- Work with the US accounting team on financial statements
- Prepare for financial audit
Skills Required:
- Able to speak/read/write fluent English
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong experience with QuickBooks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Advanced degree a plus
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Working experience in multi-national corporations, with US parent companies preferred
- Experience with financial audit by external auditors, with US audit firms preferred. |
